Sweet Bonanza: matching symbols, tumbles and bonus multipliers

Sweet Bonanza is Pragmatic Play’s candy-and-fruit slot. This guide covers the original title: its tumbling board, scatter-triggered free spins and the multiplier values that can appear during the feature.

Sources reviewed

A tumble sequence: match symbols, remove the winning symbols, then refill the board.
A simplified tumble sequence. Refilling the gaps does not guarantee another winning combination.

The original Sweet Bonanza

Pragmatic Play’s launch announcement dated 25 June 2019 introduces Sweet Bonanza as a six-column, five-row video slot. Fruit and sweets fill the board, including watermelons and lollipops. The announcement describes the game as highly volatile; it does not give a schedule for when large or small results will occur.

This page is about that original title. The name now also appears in later releases: the provider announced Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter in July 2025 with an additional special-symbol feature. Its rules and advertised maximum should not be copied into a description of the original.

Matching symbols and tumbles

The current provider page describes payouts for eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the board, with bands extending to twelve or more. The paytable identifies the value for each symbol and count.

After a win, the paying symbols disappear and replacements drop into the empty spaces. The original announcement calls this a tumble. A board can therefore change several times as wins are resolved. More movement on screen does not by itself tell you whether the overall result exceeds the stake.

What you see What to read in the rules
Several matching symbols The count and payout band for that symbol
A new set of falling symbols Whether it creates another qualifying win
A displayed total Which parts of the sequence it includes
A balance change The return after accounting for the amount staked

For example, a return of 6 credits from a 10-credit stake leaves a net loss of 4 credits. That arithmetic is useful when an animation celebrates a payout. It is an illustrative example, not a prediction of this game’s returns.

Free spins and multiplier values

The official page describes four to six scatters triggering ten free spins. During the feature, multiplier symbols can carry values from 2× to 100×. Values appearing in a tumble sequence are added together when that sequence ends.

A multiplier value and the final return are different quantities. The help screen explains which win amount receives the multiplier. Read that calculation before comparing screenshots of bonus results; a large number on a symbol alone does not state how much was returned.

RTP, version and availability

Pragmatic Play’s public page displayed 96.48% RTP when checked on 13 October 2026. We have not verified that figure in every casino’s game client. The Gambling Commission explains RTP as an average across many plays, rather than the return a player should expect from one session.

The 2019 launch article is useful for the game’s history, but an old announcement cannot establish every detail of a current operator’s version. Check the exact title and provider in the help screen, along with the paytable and any optional feature charges.

Slotron’s casino listings have separate sources and country scopes. A description of Sweet Bonanza does not confirm access from your location. See the slots guide for broader terminology and Our approach for how we separate game identity from casino availability.

Each observation has a scope, review date and source where available. Operator statements, corroboration, conflicts, stale information and unknowns are labeled separately. A checked source is not a guarantee that a claim is true.

Country policy is separate from website reachability. Game categories do not confirm an original game's availability, and blockchain transfers alone do not prove casino ownership or winnings.

Published profiles may contain unresolved facts; read their scope and check the current terms before making a decision.
